Be a Tidy Kiwi chair Ewan Warrender and brand ambassador Kiri Danielle recently helped to supply Otahuhu Intermediate School in Auckland with branded t-shirts for students to wear during the school's night market fundraiser in March.

The event, aimed at raising funds for the Year 8 graduation and end-of-year syndicate trips, featured a variety of fundraising activities organised by each form class, including games, tie-dye stations, and food stalls.

This year, the school introduced student ‘waste educators’ who wore Be a Tidy Kiwi t-shirts and educated others about recycling and responsible waste disposal. These students guided attendees at the event's recycling station, ensuring that waste was sorted and disposed of correctly.

A teacher from Otahuhu school said, “the event was very successful, and as we are on a journey to zero waste at our night markets, the t-shirts really helped to hype the students up and direct the crowd."
